HY4RES – Hybrid solutions for Renewable Energy Systems
HY4RES is working on creating new technology that uses renewable energy sources, like wind and solar power, along with smart data systems to help communities in the Atlantic Area become more energy-efficient. The main challenge they are tackling is how to use more renewable energy in different regions by coming up with smart ways to store and manage it.
HYDEA – Boosting the hydrogen transition in the Atlantic Area ports
HYDEA is about making green hydrogen technologies a big part of how ports work in the Atlantic Area. Green hydrogen is a clean energy source, and the project wants to use it along with other renewable energies in ports to make things more energy-efficient and reduce carbon emissions.
SaferSEA – Safer Smarter and Eco-friendlier Atlantic Area
The Atlantic Ocean is a crucial area for shipping and serves as a gateway to Europe. More and more goods and ships are expected to pass through this region in the coming decades. While this increase in transportation is good for trade, it also means a greater impact on the environment due to maritime transport. To address this, the SaferSEA project aims to make everyone aware of the challenges faced by the shipping industry.
