The European Commission's Directorate-General for Regional and Urban Policy promotes Interreg GO! on 27 and 28 March 2025, in the cross-border twin cities of Gorizia (Italy) and Nova Gorica (Slovenia). Held in the year marking 35 years of European cooperation programmes, the event marks the assumption of the Interreg post-2027 consultation and joins all the cooperation programmes, including the Interreg Atlantic Area.
On the first day, the high-level event will conclude the outcomes of the broad consultation process on Interreg as part of cohesion policy post-27. The Interreg Atlantic Area's contribution was made last December, when CCDR Norte, the programme's Managing Authority, sent out the harvesting report based on the recommendations of the consultations with citizens and stakeholders.
The second day will focus on 2021-2027 programme implementation, results achieved, highlighting best practices and lessons learnt, in the scope of the Interreg annual event.
The conference is organized in partnership with the Interreg Italy-Slovenia programme, the EGTC GO!, the Friuli-Venezia-Giulia region in Italy and the Ministry for Cohesion and Regional Development in Slovenia, as well as with Interact.
