Increasing visibility in regional cooperation is a key objective for Interreg, and engaging young people in communication activities is essential to strengthen European cohesion.
To explore this topic, Interact is hosting an online event on April 8, from 13:30 to 16:30 CET. This event will highlight the crucial role of youth in Interreg communication.
The focus will be on the benefits and challenges of hosting Interreg Volunteer Youth (IVY) in programmes and projects. A representative from the European Commission will highlight the importance of youth engagement in Interreg, and participants will discuss how Interreg staff and young volunteers can collaborate to improve communication efforts.
Who should join?
This event is open to Interreg programme staff interested in hosting IVY volunteers, young people passionate about European cooperation, and anyone looking to strengthen communication within Interreg.
Campaign 1000 faces of volunteers
IVY started 2025 with the campaign '1000 faces of volunteers', marking a relevant result in promoting European Territorial Cooperation and empowering youth across borders. Launched in March 2017, IVY is the main European programme for the inclusion of young people in Interreg projects and programmes.
