The finalists for the 2024 edition of Regiostars have been announced and the public can vote online until 9 October. Launched in 2008 as a label of excellence for European-funded projects that demonstrate the impact and inclusiveness of regional development, Regiostars has this year 25 finalist projects, and 10 of them were supported by Interreg programmes.
The category that shows more cooperation projects is ‘Connected Europe’ with 4 projects developed in partnership that contribute to overcoming the same challenges in different European regions. Investments like intelligent transport systems and upgraded communication infrastructures are now expecting the public's vote.
The most-voted project among all finalists is announced in the REGIOSTARS ceremony that takes place on 9 October 2024, in Brussels, as part of the European Week 2024.
