The Interreg Volunteer Youth (IVY) initiative provides the opportunity for young volunteers to take part in European projects and support cooperation in the EU.
Marta Novara, a twenty-two years old girl from Italy, is volunteering with IVY, working for the communication branch at the Interreg Atlantic Area from February to June 2023. As an Interreg Reporter, Marta will be contributing to disseminating information on territorial cooperation projects, being a great contribution to help us promote and support Interreg activities.
Marta has a bachelor’s degree in International Sciences and doing currently a gap year in order to get hands-on experiences to choose wisely what to do in her future!
The IVY initiative is managed by the Association of European Border Regions (AEBR). IVY gives young people aged 18-30 the opportunity to volunteer in transnational projects and aims to promote the benefits and the values of solidarity and cooperation among young people, while fostering a European identity.
