The Portuguese National Authority of Interreg Atlantic Area promotes, from 10 to 12 December, in Porto, a showcase of projects supported by the European Regional Development Fund, including a pitch of European Territorial Cooperation projects and the seminar ‘Cooperation and Regional Development: Tourism and Heritage’, getting together management bodies and beneficiaries on the potential reach of these projects.
Interreg Atlantic Area will be represented by the ATLAS.WH project, implemented in the cycle 2014-2020. The main result of the investment, led by the partner Municipality of Porto, was the creation of a formal network of urban World Heritage sites in the Atlantic Area completed upon the “Cooperation Agreement between World Heritage Sites”.
This showcase is the first major national initiative, aimed at companies and the general public, providing a comprehensive overview of the projects and investments that have been promoted through the European Funds in Portugal, but also providing a space for information on how European funds can be accessed. Interreg Atlantic Area will be presented in a stand.
