Workshop EMBRC BioBank

Practical steps for facilitating the use of marine biological resources for commercial R&D in the context of new Access & Benefit Sharing legal framework (Nagoya Protocol)

This workshop takes place in the frame of the the European Marine Biological Resource Centre - EMBRC BioBank project (EBB),  aiming to remove barriers accessing bioresources. The coming workshop will connect companies, marine culture collections/biobanks and Access and Benefit Sharing (ABS) National Contact Points. The knowledge, issues and needs of companies regarding ABS regulation will be discussed, and flagship use-cases proposed by companies themselves will be selected and beta-tested for them by the EBB partners in the light of the ABS framework.

Register here and come to meet us at the workshop. For more information: justine.pittera@polemer-ba.com
