10 thinks to know about Transnational Cooperation
The Interreg Atlantic Area Programme is part of a joint paper highlighting the value of transnational cooperation
The Interreg transnational cooperation programmes jointly elaborated a document with 10 messages presenting the added value and achievements of transnational cooperation in the European countries and regions they address. The Interreg Atlantic Area is part of this publication identifying examples of projects with positive impact in this area.
This publication was elaborated in the framework of the post-2020 discussions on Cohesion Policy funding. In this context, the European Commission has launched a 'Public consultation on EU funds in the area of cohesion' , which will help to assess what can be improved in the future and design proposals for the next generation of financial programmes for the post-2020 Multiannual Financial Framework (the EU's long–term budget).
