PORTOS project awarded at the 4th edition of PT Global Water Awards 2020-2021

This initiative rewards the internationalization of the Portuguese water sector

PORTOS project was awarded at the 4th edition of the PT Global Water Awards 2020-21, in the category 'Research, Development and Innovation'.

The PT Global Water Awards aims to distinguish companies or entities that are part of the Portuguese water cluster and that in the last two years achieved an important success in the growing internationalization of this important sector for the Portuguese economy. This initiative is supported by the Ministry of Environment and Climate Action and by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and is promoted by the Portuguese Water Partnership and the magazine Água&Ambiente. The ceremony was held last 12th December in Lisbon, during the 16ª Expo Water Conference.

PORTOS is led by Faculdade de Engenharia da Universidade do Porto and aims to support and promote the energy transition, energy sufficiency and carbon neutrality of Atlantic Area ports.
