Atlantic Area workshop "Making the most of natural and marine resources for the benefit of the Atlantic regions"

Next 21.10.21 under the 8th Atlantic Stakeholder Platform Conference

Interreg Atlantic Area is promoting the workshop ““Making the most of natural and marine resources for the benefit of the Atlantic regions” during the 8th Atlantic Stakeholder Platform Conference, to be held on the 21st October from 13:45 to 15:00 (Dublin time).

One of the main objectives sought by the Interreg Atlantic Area programme is to support the development of renewable energy, namely through solutions based on the sea, being a decisive tool to promote the transition to a resource-efficient society.

This workshop aims to showcase four Atlantic transnational projects that present innovative strategies to make the most of the marine resources that deliver sustainable solutions in very different areas such as transports, marine resources and health.

The Atlantic projects SEAFUEL, BLUEHUMAN, SAFER and EBB will share their knowledge and expertise on their fields of action and propose recommendations to foster a Green Blue Economy. The workshop will be divided into 2 moments, one to present green solutions for the exploitation of these resources and another to present strategies/ platforms to manage this exploitation.
