A competition will also be carried out to select startups to collaborate with Maritime Safety Training Centres
AT-VIRTUAL is organising on the next 27 January (10:30-12:30 CEST) an online selection event, conceived to contribute to spread the features and potentials of the Internet of Things and its application in maritime conditions. It will also carry out the selection of the startups that will collaborate with the Maritime Safety Training Centres (MSTC) in the development of the solutions proposed to face their challenges. This competition will be both public with a pitch contest and private with face to face interviews where the applicants will have the opportunity to defend their proposal and respond the questions formulated by the centres fo a better understanding of the solution.
AT-VIRTUAL project main goal is to improve the operability and performance of MSTC in the Atlantic Area by enabling businesses to develop emerging technology-based solutions to MSTCs needs in the field of simulation-based training systems for maritime security operations. The consortium is lead by Centro Europeo de Empresas e Innovación del Principado de Asturias and has a total budget of 1.8 million euros until December 2021.
