Interact launches ebook to showcase Interreg projects dealing with climate changes

Four Atlantic projects presented as good practices in contributing to a Greener Europe

Interact launched the ebook "Interreg addressing Climate Change: the power of cooperation for a Greener Europe", to showcase what are Interreg projects doing to tackle climate change.

One of the priorities of the Atlantic Area programme is to support a better management of the environment, so that regional authorities and relevant stakeholders are better prepared to adapt to climate change and to potential risks occurring in the Atlantic territory. We support 9 projects dealing directly with territorial risks and climate change issues, allocating 20.4 million euros to this priority.

You can find out some of these Atlantic projects on this publication, along with other Interreg projects and learn more about what these partnerships are doing to contribute to a Greener Europe.

This Ebook was presented in the Workshop "Interreg: cooperation for a Greener Europe", during the European Week of Cities and Regions (13.10.2020), with the participation of Interact and the Interreg programmes: Atlantic Area, Balkan-Med, Med and Portugal-Spain.
