Interreg Atlantic Area @ European Week of Regions and Cities 2020
The largest European regions event will take place throughout 3 weeks, in a mostly online format and with 70+ Interreg events
The 18th edition of the European Week of Regions and Cities is an annual event dedicated to cohesion policy, where cities and regions have the opportunity to showcase their capacity to create growth and jobs and prove the importance of cooperation at local and regional level for good European governance.
For the first time, this event will be held during three weeks and in a mostly online format, each week dedicated to a different topic:
- 5-9 October: Empowering Citizens
- 12-16 October: Cohesion and Cooperation
- 19-22 October: Green Europe
The European Week will also be an opportunity to celebrate the 30 years of Interreg. The Interreg programmes join forces, once again, to promote the best practices of European territorial cooperation.

- 12-16 October | Virtual stand designed by AYCH ambassadors
This annual event is jointly organised by the European Commission's Directorate-General for Regional and Urban Policy (DG REGIO) and the European Committee of the Regions (CoR).
