ATLANTIC CULTURESCAPE launches website to promote living cultural experiences
Highlighted are the experiences that can be lived in each of the partner regions
The AtlanticCultureScape project just launched a website as a platform to promote the development of living cultural experiences across the Atlantic Area: www.atlanticculturescape.eu.
The website will highlight what living culture is with examples from partner regions, including harpists in Ireland, wool crafts in Wales and salt producers in Spain. It will also have bookable living culture experiences available to browse, which are currently in the early stages of being developed by regional tourism clusters.
The AtlanticCultureScape (Intangible cultural heritage inspired by designated land and seascapes in the Atlantic Area) is co-financed by the Interreg Atlantic Area. With a budget of €1.9M until the end of 2021, this project is lead by Newry, Mourne and Down District Council (UK) and has a consortium of 7 partners and 11 associated from 4 Member States.
