Three Atlantic Area projects applied for Regiostars 2020

This prestigious award, given by the European Commission, aims at featuring the best EU-funded cooperation projets

This year REGIOSTARS 2020 celebrate another edition, this time with 5 categories, one of which aims to mark the 30 years of Interreg. This prestigious award, given by the European Commission, aims at featuring the best EU-funded cooperation projets.

Three Atlantic Area projects applied for Regiostars 2020:

Category: Circular Economy for a Green Europe - INTEGRATE, Integrate Aquaculture: an eco-innovative solution to foster sustainability in the Atlantic Area

Category: Citizens engagement for cohesive European Cities - CLEANATLANTIC, Tackling marine litter in the Atlantic Area

Category: Youth empowerment for cooperation across borders - 30 years of Interreg – AYCH, Atlantic Youth Creative Hubs

An independent jury of high-level academics will assess the submitted project applications. The public will also decide on its own winner through a public online vote system.

The winners will be revealed during the Regiostars Award Ceremony, which is to take place in Brussels on the EU Regions Week (12-15 October 2020).
