Interreg Project Slam - tell the story of your project!

And get the chance to perform your project on stage during the Interreg 30 years Project Slam at the EWRC

For the last 3 years, the Interreg community has shown its strength at the top annual event in October Brussels - the European Week of Regions and Cities. This year, with the celebration of the 30 years of Interreg, our projects will be the focus of attention.

We would like to draw your attention to a special kind of event that is taking place there: the Interreg Project SLAM. The objective of this event is to find the best project practices, and to present them both in social media and during a live final performance.

How does it works?

Each Interreg programme will submit online their project stories. 30 of these projects will be shortlisted by a jury and will be invited to produce a 2 minutes video for a competition on social media (last year more than 100.000 people voted for the best projects).

The 6 winning projects of this competition will win an invitation to perform on stage, during 6 minutes, in front of more than 200 people during the week of Regions and cities, in Brussels, among which the top politicians of the EU.

It is expected more than 100 projects to send their application and we hope that our programme will be proudly represented.

How to apply?

You need you to fill in a 30 minutes template that guides you to tell your story, in less than 3 minutes: bit.ly/Interactstorytelling

Once you have filled in the template, you will receive your story by email. If you feel satisfied by it, you just have to send it back to us by email - js@atlanticarea.eubefore the 22nd April. Then, we will select the best proposals and submit to the competition until the 25th of April.

There is some material available here that can inspire you for your storytelling.

What happens next?

If your project is shortlisted you will receive a notification until the 1st of May. You will then have to produce a 2 minutes video for social media competition (support will be provided by then) - and get a chance to be invited to perform on stage, all included, during the Grand Finale of Interreg 30 years project Slam in Brussels in October 2020 ;-)
