RegioStars Awards 2020
This annual competition awards the best EU Cohesion policy projects. Interreg Atlantic Area projects are invited to apply until 9 May 2020
RegioStars is an annual award competition organised by the European Commission’s Directorate General for Regional and Urban Policy to showcase innovative EU-funded projects.
The 13th edition of RegioStars competition is now open and the Interreg Atlantic Area projects are invited to apply with their best practices.
The best EU cohesion policy projects will be awarded on five areas that are crucial for the future of EU regional policy:
- industrial transition for a smart Europe
- circular economy for a green Europe
- skills & education for a digital Europe
- citizens engagement for cohesive European cities
- + topic of the year: 30 years of Interreg - youth empowerment for cooperation across borders
The on-line application platform is open until 9 May 2020. The Guide for Applicants provides all the necessary information to become a winning project.
An independent jury of high-level academics will assess the submitted project applications. The public will also decide on its own winner through a public on-line vote system.
The winners will be known during the Regiostars Award Ceremony, to take place in Brussels on the EU Regions Week (12-15 October 2020).
