Celebrating 30 years of Interreg!

In 2020 Interreg programmes will celebrate (more than ever) the cooperation achievements

The year of 2020 marks 30 years since the start of Interreg, the emblematic European programmes that aims at encouraging territorial cooperation between regions.

The last 30 years have showed us that the European Territorial Cooperation is at the core of the European spirit because some challenges have only been tackled thanks to the joint cooperation actions and such results could only have been achieved by working together.

In 2020 we will celebrate, more than ever, the Interreg programmes and projects achievements and also debate the future of cooperation, as we are now preparing the next programming period. Three themes will be the focus of events planned for this year: Greener Europe, Youth involvement, We all have a neighbour.

You can find here more information about the Interreg 30 campaign, including the events planned throughout 2020.

European Week of Regions and Cities

One of the major highlights of this year will be the 18th edition of the European Week of Regions and Cities (15-16 October, in Brussels), where the Interreg Atlantic Area Programme and projects will have an active participation.

Should your project fit one of the 3 above mentioned topics of Interreg 30 do not hesitate to apply to become a partner! DEADLINE: 17 April 2020

Stay tuned and let`s celebrate together!
