Information on Brexit to UK project partners
Announcement from the Ministry for Housing, Communities and Local Government, UK Government
The Ministry for Housing, Communities and Local Government, UK National Correspondent of the Atlantic Area programme, has stood down the preparations for leaving the EU without a deal for European Territorial Cooperation (ETC) programmes.
It is expect the EU Withdrawal Agreement Bill to be passed imminently. Once this has been ratified by the EU at the end of January this means that ETC programmes will be able to continue as originally planned to the end of the current programme.
All UK project partners should continue to deliver project activities and make claims to the Joint Secretariat / Managing Authority in accordance with the rules and requirements set out until the project end date. This also means that there should be no change for UK lead partners or the claims and payment processes. In addition, UK projects are also eligible to apply for further Interreg funding as part of this current 2014-2020 programme period.
If you have any questions please contact firstname.lastname@example.org. For all delivery enquiries please contact the Joint Secretariat / Managing Authority as usual.
