Four Atlantic Area projects awarded in the Atlantic Project Awards 2016
Award ceremony took place today during the third Atlantic Stakeholder Platform Conference in Dublin
Four projects co-financed by the Atlantic Area Programme were awarded in the first edition of the Atlantic Project Awards 2016, designed to honour outstanding success stories achieved by projects in the Atlantic Area.
We congratulate the following projects for the excellent and innovative work developed by these partnerships:
- AtlanticBlueTech (coordinated by Technopôle Brest Iroise), awarded on category Entrepreneurship & Innovation
- ArcopolPtatform (coordinated by Centro tecnológico del Mar - CETMAR) on category Atlantic Marine and Coastal Environment
- Batterie (coordinated by Action Renewables) on Accessibility and Connectivity and
- AtlanticPowerCluster (coordinated by SODERCAN-Sociedad para el Desarrollo de Cantabria) on category Sustainability.
The ceremony was held during the third Atlantic Stakeholder Platform today, in Dublin and was presented by the Commissioner for Environment, Maritime Affairs and Fisheries Mr. Karmenu Vella. The jury included EC representatives, Atlantic Strategy Group representatives, academics, and representatives from business/industry.
