Protection of traditional forage habitats for Atlantic European food production 2016-05-12 08:49:47
We aim to: 1) Develop protection protocols and policies based on knowledge of the biology and management of the habitats of these forage species.
2) Help promote region specific food products developed from natural and semi-natural grasslands.
3) Help promote agri-tourism (similar to the Économusée concept but at a landscape level).
4) Create a map of European natural and semi-natural forages in the Atlantic region using remote sensing techniques.
