This proposal is to provide a sustainable technology hub where specialists would be available to work with local businesses in taking forward sustainable technology development projects for the introduction or adoption of new processes, products or services. Facilities at participating institutions would be available, including state of the art work shop and laboratory space, apparatus and equipment. An outreach programme would ensure that local businesses were made aware of the services and resources available, and engagement with businesses would be on a flexible project-by-project basis, with a full sign posting service to funding and technical support that may be available.
