The Interreg Atlantic Area organises a workshop during the 4th Atlantic Stakeholder Platform Conference

Register now to participate in this workshop about the history and modernity of cultural heritage in the Atlantic Area

The 4th Atlantic Stakeholder Platform Conference on the topic "Regeneration under generations socially inclusive sustainable development of the European Atlantic Seaboard", will take place on the 8 of November at the University of Strathclyde in Glasgow.

This annual conference will host 8 parallel workshops and around 40 project stands, offering a great opportunity for Atlantic stakeholders to meet, seek ways of cooperation and identify funding opportunities and partnerships for their projects. The #Interreg @AtlanticArea programme is organising the workshop 1D "Setting a bridge between history and modernity of the cultural heritage of the Atlantic Area" with the participation of representatives from the recently approved projects MMIAH and CAPITEN.

#MMIAH aims to preserve the identity of the coastal edge of the Atlantic Area, through the recovery and valorization of disused maritime, military and industrial heritage.

#CAPITEN aims to promote economic development and jobs by enhancing the local natural and cultural heritage and to create a industry cluster to organise its concerted and coherent development.

The draft agenda of this conference is already online: https://goo.gl/G5RuQb.

On the agenda is also the 2nd Atlantic Project Award Ceremony designed to honor outstanding success stories, achieved by projects in the geographical area covered by the Atlantic Strategy and that are related to the implementation of the Atlantic Action Plan. In the previous edition of this award, four of the winners were projects co-financed by the Atlantic Area Programme 2007-2013: @AtlanticBlueTec, @ARCOPOLplaform, @BatterieProject and @AtPowerCluster.
